Dryer Vent Cleaning in Southern New Jersey

Duct Doctor of Southern New Jersey cleans the dryer vent run and the accessible areas of the dryer appliance where lint accumulates. Our residential service includes a safety check and volumetric airflow analysis—not just cleaning the lint screen or the opening outside.

Based in Cherry Hill, we travel to homes throughout our primary Camden, Burlington and Gloucester County service area, including Haddonfield, Moorestown, Mount Holly, Washington Township and Shamong.

We’re not a handyman with a brush on a drill. We’re a trained, insured and bonded NADCA member company with the equipment and experience to properly clean your dryer and dryer duct. When a fire marshal or HOA requires certification, we provide it to confirm that the cleaning was properly completed by our professional, insured company. We do the job right, leaving you with a safe, efficient appliance you can depend on.

What the service includes

  • Cleaning the vent run and accessible lint-collecting areas of the dryer appliance.
  • A safety check and volumetric airflow analysis.
  • Many minor vent-run or connection repairs at no additional charge.
  • Replacement of up to four feet of residential dryer transition duct, when needed, at no additional charge.

Cleaning and repair are not interchangeable. Damaged components, a poorly configured vent path or an appliance fault may require attention beyond routine cleaning. We explain the conditions found and discuss additional work before proceeding.

Plan on yearly dryer-vent cleaning

Once a year is the typical service interval. Make dryer-vent cleaning part of your annual home maintenance. If drying performance changes before your next visit, contact our office rather than waiting for the yearly appointment.

Tell us about any specific problems

Does a normal load now take at least 15 minutes longer to dry than it did after your last cleaning? Tell us about that, any unusual behavior, delays or other problems—even if it’s just a gut feeling that something isn’t right. Your observations help us know what to focus on during your visit.

Let us know where the dryer is located, what you know about the vent’s route outdoors, and whether the appliance or vent has recently been replaced or worked on.

Dryer vents and HVAC ducts are separate systems

Your dryer vent carries exhaust outdoors. Your HVAC ducts distribute heated and cooled air throughout the home. We provide both services, but they involve different systems and procedures. If you also need HVAC cleaning, see our residential air duct cleaning service.
